Trisha Loftis, a compassionate lightworker from the vibrant South Bay in Southern California, is a Pediatric Soul's End-of-Life Companion like no other. With a background as a dedicated NICU nurse for 11 years, Trisha uncovered her profound passion for offering personalized end-of-life care and support to NICU babies and their families. She honors the souls of these NICU babies and their families for their invaluable contributions towards her journey of learning to advocate for dignity in death, the process of legacy building, and the ability to hold space and be present for difficult conversations.

Her journey continued as she spent nearly a year working in the home of a former NICU patient, baby Sedona, gaining invaluable insights into life after the NICU with a medical needs child. It became a life-changing bond as Trisha had been present at Sedona's birth as a NICU nurse and serendipitously was also present at her unexpected death at only 17-months-old, following a rare infection. Trisha walked alongside Sedona's grieving family as they guided each other through their journeys of healing. She honors the soul of Sedona and her family for the gifts of a powerful spiritual awakening, the lessons of family bereavement and sibling support, and the awareness that a Pediatric Soul's journey in every form, and at any age, is full of purpose. Trisha believes that loved ones surrounding the child with a terminal diagnosis or those who face a premature death can be guided and empowered to energetically and intuitively tap into that bond and that purpose on their individual paths of reframing grief.

It was during the period following Sedona's death of Trisha's healing and self-discovery that she stumbled upon the term "Death Doula," realizing that this was her true calling all along. As an End-of-Life Doula, she provides individualized non-medical, holistic, emotional, spiritual, logistical, and educational support tailored to children facing death and their families. While much of the focus on end-of-life care centers around the adult and aging population, Trisha's unique background in neonatal and pediatric care allows her to offer an invaluable perspective and subspecialty. With intuitive companionship, she assists Pediatric Souls and their loved ones as they navigate the challenging path of terminal diagnoses.

Emerging from her own journey of mourning, Trisha embraced her life's purpose with the creation of Mourning Doulas, a business dedicated to providing solace and support during life's most difficult moments.
